Emirates-CAE Flights Training (ECFT) has signed a deal with Abu Dhabi Police Air Wing for Bell 412 helicopter training.

The multi-year contract was signed yesterday at IDEX 2007 by General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Interior and Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates Airline and Group.

Sheikh Ahmed said: "I'm very pleased to welcome the Abu Dhabi Police Air Wing to our facility in Dubai where they will have access to quality flight training in a state-of-the-art full flight simulator and in a very convenient location.”

Emirates CAE Flight Training is approved by the UAE General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) and both the US and Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the European Joint Airworthiness Authorities (JAA). Abu Dhabi Police Air Wing joins other Bell 212 and 412 operators in the UAE and the Gulf region, who train at the ECFT's Dubai facility, including Dubai Police, Dubai Air wing and Gulf Helicopters and Saudi Aramco.
