Two commemorative stamps have been issued by Emirates Post to celebrate the 37th anniversary of the Accession Day of President His Highness Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan. The stamps, in the denominations of 50 fils and 175 fils, carry designs created by Mariam Al Mohairi, a student at the Women's College in Sharjah, who won a competition entitled Zayed – the Pride of Arabs.

Abdullah Al Daboos, Director General of Emirates Post, said: "We are pleased to participate in this happy celebration by immortalising the achievements of His Highness Sheikh Zayed through stamps that will remind people how rapidly the country has progressed due to his wisdom and foresight, with major developments in the political, economic and cultural fields.
