Emirati Al Taher named Chief Arbiter for Women's FIDE Grand Prix Series

Emirati arbiter Sultan Ali Al Taher was selected for the third year in a row by the World Chess Federation (FIDE) as the chief arbiter of the Women's FIDE Grand Prix Series, scheduled between 2nd May-16th May in Geneva, Switzerland.

FIDE Master Al Taher is an international Arbiter since 1997 and is a member of the board of the Sharjah Cultural and Chess Club.

Al Taher was Chief Arbiter for FIDE Women's Grand Prix in 2011, held in Shenzhen, China and for FIDE Women Grand Prix 2012 in Kazan, Russia. – Emirates News Agency, WAM
