Encyclopaedia of Ajman Documents released

An encyclopaedia documenting the history of the emirate of Ajman, its march of development and its relations with the other emirates and countries in the region was released by Ajman Centre for Documentation in association with the Department of Culture and Information in Ajman.

H.H Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, UAE Supreme Council member and ruler of Ajman and H.H. Sheikh Abdul Aziz Bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Ajman Department of Culture and Information and Ajman Centre for Documentation, had had an overview of the manuscript of the encyclopaedia before its publication. The major work documents with precision and elegance, the interaction between the man and his environment in the emirate and their growth through the past to the present.

The encyclopaedia is not a mere book of dates and chronology of events, but a captivating story of the birth and gradual development of an emirate in the geographical context of the Gulf. – Emirates News Agency, WAM
