The Abu Dhabi-based Finance House has donated Dh. 2 million for the reconstruction of Lebanon in the wake of the month-long war between Hezbollah and Israel that devastated most of the country's infrastructure.

Mohammed Abdullah Juma Al Qubaisi, chairman of Finance House's board of directors, said that the donation mirrors his company's keenness to contribute to charity endeavours to help rebuild Lebanon. "This move was in tandem with the policy mapped out by Late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, and being espoused by President H.H. Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan and the people of the UAE," said Qubaisi. (Emirates News Agency, WAM)
