First batch of copter pilots to graduate next month

The first batch of 38 students from the UAE Armed Forces and Interior Ministry will be graduating in March from the Horizon International Flight Academy (HIFA). The graduates will be awarded the civil helicopter pilot license, a HIFA press release said today on the final day of the six-day IDEX 2005 in which HIFA took part for the first time since was founded in September 2003.



It has received a tremendous response from local and regional military and civilian sectors seeking helicopter pilot training for their personnel HIFA, the first of its kind in the UAE and GCC for civil and military commercial pilots license (CPL) training, has trained 73 students up to the end of 2004.
