GCC Consultative Summit concludes

Dammam - The Heads of States and leaders of the GCC countries concluded here on Tuesday their 10th consultative summit which was presided over by Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani, the Emir of Qatar, Chairman of the current session.

President HH Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan participated in the summit along with Custodian of the two Holy Shrines King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud of Saudi Arabia, King Hamad bin Eisa Al Khalifa of Bahrain, Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al Ahmed Al Sabah, Deputy Prime minister of Oman for Cabinet Affairs Assayed Fahd bin Mahmoud Al Saeed, in addition to Secretary General of GCC Abdul Rahman bin Hamad Al Attiya.

In the summit held at Al Khaleej Palace in Dammam, the GCC leaders discussed a number of issues pertaining to economy and security of member states, as well as a number of current issues of regional and international importance. – Emirates News Agency, WAM
