GCC Foreign Ministers discuss Ahmadinejad's visit to UAE's Abu Musa island

Doha - Foreign ministers of the six-nation Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) held here yesterday an emergency meeting to discuss the latest developments regarding a visit made by Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad to the UAE island of Abu Musa last week. The meeting will take stock of the situation and Iran's occupation of the UAE three islands of Abu Musa, and Greater and Lesser Tunbs.

Foreign Minister HH Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan is leading the UAE delegation to the 39th extraordinary meeting which is convened under the chairmanship of Saudi Foreign Minister, Prince Saud Al Faisal, and attendance of GCC Secretary General Dr Abdullatif Al Zayani. - Emirates News Agency, WAM
