Gargash calls GCC-EU to promote better understanding of common issues

Brussels: UAE Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Dr. Anwar Mohammed Gargash has called for strengthening frameworks of dialogue between the GCC and EU institutions for furthering bilateral relations and for better understanding of common issues.

Speaking was speaking at a meeting with ambassadors and head of diplomatic missions of the GCC accredited to the EU in Brussels.

The meeting, was attended by Sulaiman Al Mazrouie, UAE Ambassador to the Kingdom of Belgium and the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg and the European Union, tackled a variety of pressing issues at the regional and international levels.

Later. Dr. Gargash visited the new building of the UAE Military Attaché in Brussels, where he spoke to the staff, thanking them for their dedication in serving the homeland.

He also urged them to maintain refine diplomatic ethics so as to represent the UAE in an civilised way. – Emirates News Agency, WAM
