Gargash praises UAE-NATO strong relations

Brussels - Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Dr Anwar Mohammed Gargash addressed yesterday a seminar held at the NATO HQ in Brussels to discuss ways of deepening cooperation among members of the Istanbul Cooperation Initiative (ICI) and the NATO, ahead of NATO's Chicago Summit in March.

Dr Gargash emphasised the need to confront security challenges in the Gulf region and the importance of coordinating efforts to ensure peace and stability in the Gulf. He said the UAE's decision to establish a permanent mission reflects its strong relations with the NATO. NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen thanked Dr Gargash for taking part in the seminar. - Emirates News Agency, WAM
