Ghobash: National human resources is rich in efficiency and experience

Minister of Labour Saqr Ghobash said that the national human resources is rich in efficiency and experience and capable of contributing to the continuous promotion of institutional work through developing and implementing initiatives in a manner that meets the highest degree of excellence and quality in performance.

The minister stressed the keenness of the Ministry of Labour to attract skilled nationals who are qualified and trained, and can contribute to and actively participate in translating the vision and strategic objectives of the ministry into tangible results on the ground.

He also emphasised the need to provide attractive working environment in the ministry as it inspires national cadres on creativity and encourages them to work within the spirit of one team to ensure optimal implementation of initiatives designed.

This is with the aim to promote the participation of citizens in economic sectors and raise productivity in the labour market work and achieve excellence in institutional performance, in addition to providing excellent services to customers and contribute to enhance the reputation and status of the country in international forums, the minister added.

Ghobash was commenting while attending part of the job interviews conducted at the ministry under the supervision of senior officials for selecting 28 national employees for supervisory positions.

The interview panel consisted of Acting Undersecretary of the Labour Ministry Humaid bin Dimas, and other officials. – Emirates News Agency, WAM
