Sheikh Hamdan welcomed the Mongolian official and praised the progressive bilateral relations and close cooperation between the two countries.

Sheikh Hamdan, who is the Chairman of Environment Agency - Abu Dhabi (EAD), said that the special programme to preserve Sakr falcon and other endangered birds will continue, thanks to the unlimited support of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan and General H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces.

"These programmes complement UAE's efforts in the protection of endangered falcons by re-introducing them to their natural breeding habitat," he said.

Sheikh Hamdan thanked the Mongolian Minister for the cooperation with EAD in the programme. He welcomed the Mongolian side's proposals about training and legislations that may help the environment and wildlife protection in Mongolia.

The Mongolian Minister expressed thanks to Sheikh Khalifa Sheikh Mohammed and Sheikh Hamdan for the support given to his country in preserving the Sakr falcon and in introducing the proper legislation for export of the threatened species.
