Hamdan bin Zayed tours Al Dhafra Festival

Al Gharbia - Ruler's Representative in the Western Region HH Sheikh Hamdan Bin Zayed Al Nahyan visited yesterday the Al-Dhafra Festival organised by the Abu Dhabi Authority for Culture and Heritage under the patronage of General HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, crown prince of Abu Dhabi and deputy supreme commander of the UAE Armed Forces. While touring various sections at the festival site, Sheikh Hamdan was briefed on the popular market and shops that offer the traditional types of jewellery and handicrafts reflecting the long history and heritage of UAE.

Pausing at the voting booth Sheikh Hamdan also registered his vote for selecting UAE's Bu Tinah Island as one of the seven natural wonders on the planet. – Emirates News Agency, WAM
