Sind, Pakistan - The office of UAE Deputy Prime Minister Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan in Pakistan has established three mobile hospitals in the Sind region to deliver treatment to underprivileged local populations in remote areas. 'A 50-member medical team has been formed in cooperation with the Pakistani government to cure more than 4000 poor patients in various parts of Sind region,' said Bakheet Ateq Al Rumaithi, director of Sheikh Hamdan's office in Pakistan.

'Some villagers in the Sind region are suffering from a series of chronic diseases and they are in desperate need of immediate treatment,' he noted, but added that mobile hospitals had gone to them in their places to delivery healthcare to them.

According to him, convoys of humanitarian and medical assistance could not reach out to some far-flung areas due to their harsh terrain. 'Under instructions by Sheikh Hamdan, an agreement was reached with the Pakistani government to establish more field hospitals and run more medical convoys next year to reach out to needy patients,' he added.
