Hungary to set up trade centre in Dubai

Hungary is planning to set up a trade centre in Dubai shortly, according to a senior Hungarian official. Secretary of State of Hungary's Foreign Ministry Andras Barsony, who is on a visit to the UAE, said the centre would serve as a commercial booster for ties between his country and the UAE in general and Dubai in particular.

Barsony voiced his country's aim to further lure investment from the UAE and stressed the need to sign two agreements with the UAE Ministry of Finance and Industry on double taxation avoidance and exchange of investment. The Hungarian official urged Dubai to take part in a tourism show in the East European country, which he said would attract about 60,000 visitors. (The Emirates News Agency, WAM)
