Indonesian official lauds UAE support

Muraei Mohammed, Chairman of the Indonesian Red Crescent Society has lauded the humanitarian support provided by the UAE to the tsunami victims in Indonesia. In remarks during a visit to the UAE Red Crescent Society premises in Abu Dhabi yesterday, Mohammed expressed the gratitude of the Indonesian people to President H.H Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The Indonesian official extended the thanks of his country to Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and Chairman of the RSC for his keenness to alleviate the suffering of the tsunami victims. He said the UAE support was exemplary and underscored the humanitarian values of the UAE. (The Emirates News Agency, WAM)
