Khalifa Foundation distributes thousands of food parcels among need families in Yemen

The Khalifa bin Zayed Humanitarian Foundation (KZHF) continued distributing food assistance among the needy Yemeni families in a number of villages in Hudaida Governorate.

The gesture comes within the second phase of the humanitarian initiative of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan's Dh 500 million grant to buy food items from the local market to be distributed among the Yemeni people.

KZHF's delegation yesterday distributed 1252 food baskets in needy families in Al Hudaida Governorate.

The beneficiaries expressed thanks and gratitude to President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan for his generous grant. They also expressed appreciation for the Khalifa Foundation for its efforts in distributing assistances and alleviating the Yemeni people's sufferings. – Emirates News Agency, WAM
