Khalifa Charity Foundation continues Iftar programme in 25 countries

The Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Charity Foundation continued its Ramadan charity activities at home and abroad.

Implementing one of its seasonal humanitarian works, the Foundation distributed Iftar food in 25 countries, besides UAE.

The Iftar project comes as per a kind gesture from President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan and with support from HH General Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, crown prince of Abu Dhabi and deputy supreme commander of the UAE Armed Forces.

The Foundation started its Iftar programme since the first day of Ramadan in Turkey, Eretria, Thailand, Sri Lanka, Tanzania and China.

Mohammed Haji Al Khouri said that the project of ensuring essential food supplies for poor families for Iftar is being coordinated by the UAE's diplomatic missions in various countries. The Foundation is operating also in Iraq, Comoros Islands, France, Egypt, Australia, Pakistan, Maldives, Palestine, Yemen, Italy, Jordan, Somalia, Mauretania, Switzerland, Afghanistan, Syria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Sierra Leone and Bangladesh. – Emirates News Agency, WAM
