Manila - The Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Charity Foundation delivered humanitarian aid to the flood victims in Philippines in line with instructions of UAE President H.H Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

The delegation of the Foundation yesterday provided urgent relief to those affected by floods and distributed more than 100 tons of health kits, blankets and essential items to more than 10,000 families.

The relief agency has initiated the implementation of the humanitarian program to aid those affected by heavy rains and cyclones in coordination and cooperation with the UAE embassy in Manila and humanitarian associations of Philippines.

The Delegation noted that the Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Charitable Foundation is making every possible effort to meet the humanitarian appeals made by the Philippines to the world to support it.

People and officials of cities and regions around Manila, who have been affected by the floods, expressed their deep gratitude and thanks to President H.H. Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan and the Khalifa Bin Zayed Charity on this humanitarian aid. - Emirates News Agency, WAM
