Khalifa Foundation continues implementation of humanitarian programme in Tunisia

Tunisia: The Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation's team is continuing its programme for the distribution of food baskets to about 10,000 underprivileged families in a number of Tunisian villages.

Abdullah Al Mazrouei, Head of the Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation team, said that the team had so far distributed more than 1350 food baskets to hundreds of needy families in cities and villages of Tunisia.

The distribution of these assistance packages have been completed in collaboration with the Tunisian Red Crescent and the Tunisian Union of Social Solidarity.

The beneficiaries' families expressed their thanks and appreciation to the UAE leadership, government and people, and they especially thanked the Khalifa Foundation for implementing these humanitarian programmes. – Emirates News Agency, WAM
