Khalifa Foundation distributes aid to 300 families in Nepal

KATHMANDU: The team from the Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation has distributed humanitarian and relief assistance to 300 families affected by the recent earthquake in Nepal.

An official source at the Khalifa Foundation said that the team succeeded in reaching remote Nepalese villages located on the border with China, and distributed aid, which included food items and shelter tents in addition to medical supplies and other humanitarian materials to help the families of the victims and those affected by the quake.

The source said that the humanitarian aid distributed by the Khalifa Foundation team follows directives from President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces.

The team of the Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation continues distributing aid to affected people in Nepal to follow the implementation of the foundation's relief programme to provide aid to all those who have been affected by the quake. - Emirates News Agency, WAM –
