An official source at the Khalifa Foundation said that the aid is in implementation of the directives of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and the follow-up of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces.

He added that the assistance will reach governorates which were not covered by the first phase of the programme, which included 39,000 underprivileged families.
