The Information Affairs Office of H.H. Sheikh Sultan bin Zayed Al Nahyan Deputy Prime Minister has published a new study entitled "Khalifa and the Gulf Cooperation Council", on the occasion of the participation of the President H.H. Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan in the 27th session of the GCC Supreme Council, due to be held in Riyadh on December 9-10.

The study tackles the GCC previous summit, which took place in Abu Dhabi on December 18-19, under the Chairmanship of H.H Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan who said, "The achievements made by the Council during the past 25 years call for pride and delight..

And what unites the GCC countries and peoples of love, convergence, and cooperation is able to further consolidate the one Gulf home".

The study indicates that the Abu Dhabi summit came as a fulfillment of H.H. President's eagerness on strengthening the complementarity of the brotherly relationship between the GCC countries, as an embodiment of the achievements made in all fields by the Council, throughout its march of progress, and as a result of His Highness' belief in the importance of the Council as a unitary Gulf structure, which maintains and protects the common interests and materializes the hopes and aspirations of the peoples in the GCC countries.

The study also touches upon the statements of the GCC leaders in the said Abu Dhabi summit in which they expressed their hopes that the summit will help realize further progress and prosperity for their peoples.

It also includes the full text of the final communiqu? of the 26th session of the GCC Supreme Council, where the leaders expressed their concerns for the safety and security of the GCC countries and peoples, as well as the safety of the region and the world.

They also affirmed their keenness to serve and support the issues of the Arab and Islamic worlds. Emirates News Agency
