Gaza - The Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Humanitarian Foundation has expanded its Ramadan programme in Gaza Strip to reach out the poorest families in the towns and camps there. The move had triggered thousands of poor Palestinians in those camps to rush to the main delivery centres to get the ready food, which is distributed to the poorest and marginalised categories in the Palestinian community.

Social researcher with United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA), Fadul Al Nua'mi, said the UNRWA supervises over the distribution of iftar meals to the poor people in Gaza Strip, and it has accurate data about the poorest categories. - Emirates News Agency, WAM
