Khalifa gets greetings of Queen Elizabeth II

President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan has received a letter of greetings from Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II of the United Kingdom on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the UAE National Day.

The letter was received by General His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces during a meeting here today with HRH Prince Andrew, the Duke of York.

Sheikh Mohammed and Prince Andrew reviewed during the meeting the historic ties of friendship between the two countries and ways to enhance them. They also discussed topics of mutual interest.

Present during the meeting were Mohammed Mubarak Al Mazrouei, Undersecretary of the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince's Court and British Ambassador to UAE, Dominic Jermey. â€" Emirates News Agency, WAM
