Khalifa to participate in Consultation Summit of GCC leaders

President H.H. Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan will leave Saturday for the Saudi Arabian capital, Riyadh, to attend the consultation summit of leaders of the member states the Gulf Cooperation Council, GCC.

The GCC leaders will discuss during their 7th consultation meeting which opens tomorrow the situation in the region and developments on the regional and international scenes, in addition to following up the implementation of resolutions issued during the 25th GCC summit - the Zayed Summit - which was held in the Bahraini capital, Manama, last December. They will also discussed how best to boost the GCC march in various areas.

Sheikh Khalifa is being accompanied by a high-level delegation made up of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Presidential Affairs, Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Information and Culture, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Department of Protocol and Guest House, Sheikh Sultan bin Hamdan Al Nahyan, Minister of Supreme Council and GCC Affairs, Sheikh Fahim bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Foreign Minister, Rashid Abdullah, Deputy Minister of Presidential Affairs, Ahmed Juma Al Za'abi and the UAE Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Saeed Hamdan Al Naqabi.
