Beirut - The Lebanese daily "Al Anwar" hailed the progress the UAE had achieved in various fields. In a main article on the UAE's 36th National Day anniversary, the paper attributed the great economic and cultural accomplishments of the UAE to the wise leadership of President H.H. Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan and other Supreme Council Members and Rulers of the Emirates. "The success the UAE is basking in today mirrors the great efforts made by the country's leadership to achieve further progress and prosperity to the people of the UAE," it said.
The paper said that Sheikh Khalifa possesses a rich experience he acquired by being close to his father the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.
The paper also praised H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Vice-President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai, describing him as "one of the most prominent Arab reformers of our time." It also paid tribute to General Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces as "a symbol of young, ambitious leaders who always seeks the best."
