The Ministry of Education and Youth has issued a circular for all the private and public schools in the country this week regarding the health of children. According to the circular all school children, of all nationalities, going for a vacation to the countries affected by SARS, should undergo a medical check-up at the airport through which they are re-entering the UAE, and the results should be reflected in their passports. When the children register in their schools for the new academic year, they should submit their passport copies showing they are SARS-free.
