The Ministry of Education of the U.A.E. Friday announced that it is launching an "unprecedented" package of new m-Government services when it participates in the forthcoming GITEX Technology Week, the region's largest information technology show, which takes place between October 20th-24th at the Dubai World Trade Centre.

The ministry, in a statement, said the introduction of its new services, offered over smartphone apps, is in implementation of the directives of Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, for advancing e-Government services and extending them to mobile and advanced platforms.

The ministry said its new services, based on the latest information and communication technology (ICT) innovations, will surprise targeted users, including students, their guardians and educational sector workers, with their diversity and level. – Emirates News Agency, WAM
