The UAE Federal Ministry of Presidential Affairs launched Saturday a new programme aimed at soliciting feedback and comments from UAE national and resident citizens on the federal and local governments' services and performance.

"Ehtimam", Arabic for concern, will be overseen by specialists who will follow up on feedback to advance the performance and competence of governmental departments, optimize the quality of services as well as streamline procedures at all UAE departments.

The step is in line with the vision of President H.H. Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan for advancing the level of performance throughout UAE governmental departments and is in compliance with the overall development strategy which was recently announced by H.H Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai Secretary General of the Ministry Ahmed Mohammed Al Humairi said the step is based on a proposal from Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Presidential Affairs. "It is expression of Sheikh Mansour's concern with promoting the culture of the responsible citizens, involving the public and proactively warning against failures", he added.
