His Highness General Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, yesterday received Indian Foreign Minister, Salman Khurshid, who is currently visiting the UAE.
Sheikh Mohamed welcomed the visiting minister and discussed the bilateral relations between the UAE and India and ways of enhancing them in various fields in the best interest of the two friendly countries.
The meeting reviewed the existing cooperation between the two sides and emphasised on the importance of continuous coordination and consultation between the two friendly countries, in the light of Keenness of the leadership in both countries on upgrading the existing ties.
The two sides exchanged views on a number of issues of mutual interest. They also tackled the latest regional and international developments.
Kurshid also met with H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE Minister of Foreign Affairs. During their meeting, the two ministers discussed bilateral relations and ways of enhancing and fostering them in all fields, in such a way as to meet the expectations of the two governments and will serve the common interests of the two peoples. – Emirates News Agency, WAM
