Mohamed bin Zayed receives UAE national Jiu Jitsu team

His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, has received 113 UAE National Jiu Jitsu team players, who won the Abu Dhabi World Professional Jiu-Jitsu Championship 2016, at Al Bahr Palace in Abu Dhabi.

The sports event concluded two days ago.

The meeting was attended by H.H. Sheikh Nahyan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation, and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Sports Council, Abdul Moneim Al Hashemi, Chairman of UAE Jiu-Jitsu Federation, and of the Asian Jiu-Jitsu Union (AJJU), and other senior sports officials.

Sheikh Mohamed congratulated the players on outstanding results, and wished them good luck to score more victories in other international championships. He expressed his pleasure of meeting them after scoring excellent results in the championship.

He commended the skills of players and efforts of the administrative and technical staff for their diligent efforts to win top places in this championship and others. Sheikh Mohamed also praised the sponsors for their continuous support to make such sports events a success to boost the UAE sports status.

The players expressed their happiness at meeting Sheikh Mohamed, praising his advice and support for the game.

The Abu Dhabi World Professional Jiu-Jitsu Championship 2016 was held last week under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces.
