Mohammed Bin Rashid Humanitarian and Charity Establishment, in coordination with the UAE Embassy in Beirut, is delivering food and medical assistance to 44,000 displaced Syrians living in camps on the Lebanese-Syrian border as part of the humanitarian efforts of the Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives.

Ibrahim Bu Melha, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Humanitarian and Charity Establishment, said the assistance constituted the first phase of the relief programme of the Establishment for the benefit of the displaced Syrians, adding that a team of the Establishment is in the Lebanese capital to supervise distribution of assistance to the targeted groups.

He said that Establishment had also purchased winter aid (blankets and clothing) and delivered it to 14,650 families. – Emirates News Agency, WAM -http://www.wam.ae/en/news/emirates/1395291552718.html
