Mohammed bin Rashid attends air force cadet graduation ceremony in Al-Ain

Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai, H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, attended Wednesday morning a graduation ceremony which was held at the Khalifa Bin Zayed Air College here in Al-Ain for 38 air force cadets.

The ceremony also attracted a large number of dignitaries, including Dubai Crown Prince, H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Abu Dhabi Ruler's Representative in the Eastern Region, Sheikh Tahnoun bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, Minister for Presidential Affairs, H.H. Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, a number of sheikhs, senior army and police officers, senior officials and Chairman of the National Consultative Council, Abdullah Al-Mas'ood.

The ceremony started as the Vice President arrived at the venue, where the national anthem was played.

Accompanied by the Commander of the Khalifa Bin Zayed Air College Brigadier Saeed Ghanim Al-Falasi, Sheikh Mohammed inspected the line of graduating air force cadets from UAE and the sisterly Arab countries.

The cadets then took the oath to dedicating themselves to the service of God and the motherland and pledging to protect the nation, its freedom and soil.

Later, Sheikh Mohammed distributed prizes among a group of pilots and air force cadets who had excelled in their training and wished all graduating cadets success in serving the nation.

Sheikh Mohammed also called on the national youth to join the armed forces as it creates citizens who can defend their motherland and protect the Arab nation and its legitimate issues. – Emirates News Agency, WAM
