The Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum has been briefed about the features of work plan of the Federal Health Authority programme.
The programme is set to streamline and develop the health sector nationwide.
The UAE Health Minister, Board Chairman of the Health Federal Authority Dr Hanif Hassan, presented the electronic demonstration in the executive office at Emirates Towers in the presence of Sheikh Mohammed and Dubai Crown Prince HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
Dr Nariman Al Mualla, head of the founding committee of the authority and Khalid Lootah, acting executive director for institutional services sector at the Ministry of Health demonstrated the vision of authority to develop the infrastructure of hospitals and health centres in the northern emirate to keep abreast with prosperity of the country and meet all the medical requirements there.
Attending the event were the Cabinet Affairs Minister Abdullah Al Gergawi, State Minister Reem Ibrahim Al Hashimi and other senior officials.
The Health minister stressed the need for bolstering partnership between the authority and private sector. He thanked Sheikh Mohammed for his unlimited support to the health sector across the country.
For his part, Sheikh Mohammed blessed the work plan of the authority, pledging his full support to the health sector in the country. – Emirates News Agency, WAM
