Mohammed bin Rashid clinches Austin Park's Endurance Race Title

London - The Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, led the UAE team here yesterday to win the Austin Park Endurance Race in Britain. H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Maktoum, Dubai Crown Prince took part in the event in the presence of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Maktoum, Deputy Dubai Ruler, Minister of Finance, a number of officials and endurance race fans. The-65 riders, including King of Malaysia took participated in the six stages race. Teams from UAE, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Oman, Morocco, the US, Australia, Britain, France, Germany, Spain and others contested in the 160-kilometre race. By winning the race the UAE team have qualified to the final World Endurance Race Championship, which will be held in London in August 2012. - Emirates News Agency, WAM
