London - Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum paid a visit to the headquarters of Britain's opposition Conservative Party, and met the party leader David Cameron MP.
Cameron praised Sheikh Mohammed's visit to UK and said that his visit created an opportunity to learn more about the ideas and personality of His Highness, as well as to exchange views on the future of the historical friendly relations between the UAE and Britain that is based on mutual respect and common interests.
Sheikh Mohammed and the British opposition leader exchanged views on a variety of topics related to the level and size of investment, economic and technical cooperation between the two countries.
Cameron asserted that his party will safeguard the fundamentals of the policies of Britain towards the UAE and the region and will work to strengthen and develop them if he wins the general elections in 2010 leading to the formation of a new government. - Emirates News Agency, WAM
