Mohammed bin Zayed chairs Executive Council meeting

General Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces and Chairman of Abu Dhabi Executive Council yesterday presided over the weekly ordinary meeting of the council.



The Council approved a memorandum by Abu Dhabi Water and Electricity Authority (ADWEA) on establishing a water pipeline between Taweelah B and Umm Al Nar plants. Also approved was a memorandum on setting up a 220 kv lines to link Suweihan substation with Al Hayer and Ramah in Al Ain.



A presentation was made by the Abu Dhabi Government Restructuring Committee on future government structure plans. The council endorsed the committee's budget for 2006. The council approved a plan for commercial buildings at Mohammed bin Zayed City, submitted by the Department of Municipalities and Agriculture. (Emirates News Agency, WAM)
