Mohammed bin Zayed receives delegation from Egyptian Navy

His Highness General Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE armed forces, in the presence of Ruler's Representative in the Western Region H.H Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, received in Abu Dhabi this evening, a delegation from the Egyptian naval forces headed by Commodore Ashraf Ibrahim Atwa Mujahid, who will participate in a UAE-Egyptian joint naval exercise to be hosted by UAE in the coming days.

Sheikh Mohammed welcomed the delegation from the Egyptian navy and stressed the depth of fraternal relations between the two countries and their peoples as well as the keenness of the leaders of both countries to develop them.

He also emphasised the importance of such joint exercises with brotherly and friendly countries for the development of military relations and for raising the readiness to cope with various threats and future challenges. - Emirates News Agency, WAM
