Mohammed receives Iraqi Vice President

Abu Dhabi Deputy Crown Prince and Chief of Staff of the UAE Armed Forces, Lt. General Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, received in Abu Dhabi yesterday Iraqi Vice President, Dr. Ibrahim Al Jafari and his entourage, currently on a visit to the UAE. During the meeting, they discussed bilateral relations between the two countries, the latest developments in Iraq and a number of issues of mutual interest. Sheikh Mohammed reiterated the commitment of President H.H. Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan to achieving security and stability in Iraq in the interest of the Iraqi people.

He expressed his confidence in the ability of the Iraqi people to build with their own hands a new unified Iraq which will enjoy peace, stability and progress. Dr. Al Jafari expressed gratitude and appreciation for the noble stance of Sheikh Zayed and for his continuous support for Iraq and the Iraqi people in all their predicaments.
