A fourth planeload of relief supplies from the UAE Red Crescent to the tsunami victims landed in Colombo yesterday at the Colombo International Airport. Accompanied by Mohammed Abdullah Alhaj Al Zar'ouni, Director of the Dubai branch of the RCS, the relief plane was received at the airport by a number of Sri Lankan officials. The plane is delivering 10 tonnes of relief assistance, including food items and clothing, which the Emirates Airline volunteered to deliver to the victims for free. Al Zar'ouni said that 130 tonnes of relief supplies have so far being delivered to Sri Lanka as part of an air-bridge programme aimed at reaching out to the victims. (The Emirates News Agency, WAM)
