A fourth planeload of relief assistance from the UAE Red Crescent Society, RCS, arrived in Niger Monday to deliver relief supplies to the affected people in Niger. Mohammed Abdullah Alhaj Al Zar'ouni, Director of the Dubai branch of the RCS, who is currently in Niger heading a RCS delegation to oversee the distribution of the relief supplies, presented some material assistance to the people of Yori village, which is about 13 kilometres outside the capital, Niamey. According to Al Zar'ouni, the move was part of the RCS' efforts to reach out to the victims of the drought and famine in Niger, which has claimed the lives of many children.
