Moroccan media pays glowing tribute to Sheikh Khalifa

The Moroccan Media has paid glowing tributes to President HH Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan for contributing $ 300 million enable the country to mitigate the cost of energy. Commenting on a statement by the Moroccan Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Nation Magazine said: "The contribution of HH Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed was reflects his lofty values of magnanimity and brotherhood".

Another French Language Magazine lauded the contribution, saying it came at the right when relations between the two countries were at their best. For its part, the Arabic Language daily Al Ahdath paid tribute to Sheikh Khalifa, describing him as a "brother in indeed".

Al Alam daily, a leading Arabic daily said: "Despite the geographical distances between the UAE and Morocco, Sheikh Khalifa's noble gesture stands as a living testimony to the warmth and fraternity between the peoples of the UAE and Morocco". The paper went on to say that the UAE and Morocco have had long and historical relations since the days of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and the late King Hassan II. – Emirates News Agency, WAM
