Mrs Erdogan visits the UAE Women General Union headquarters

Mrs Erdogan, wife of Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan of Turkey, has lauded the advanced level reached by UAE women and their accomplishments in various fields due to the support given to them by Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak and which has enabled them occupy a prominent regionally and internationally. Mrs. Erdogan made the statement during her visit to the headquarters of the Women General Union.



Noora Al Suawidi, Director of the WGU welcomed Mrs. Erdogan and accompanying delegation affirming the importance of exchanged visits between UAE and Turkish women for upgrading cooperation between them.



She briefed them of the great role shouldered by H.H. Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak to develop UAE women. "We have achieved tangible progress during the few previous years in various aspects and UAE women now participate tremendously in the comprehensive development of their country", she said.
