Mubarak expresses deep grief for Maktoum's demise

President Mohammed Hosni Mubarak of Egypt has issued a statement expressing his sorrow at the death of Sheikh Maktoum bin Rashid Al Maktoum. Mubarak said in a statement issued by his office in Cairo that he had received the sad news of Sheikh Maktoum's passing away while he was en route to Paris yesterday. The Egyptian President expressed his deep condolences to the leadership and people of the UAE, and prayed that Almighty God might grant the deceased mercy for the remarkable devotion to his country.
