Abu Dhabi General Services "Musanada" announced yesterday that it has successfully delivered phase 1 of infrastructure work for the new complex Neima housing in Al Ain.
Work on this project which spans over 150 hectares and includes 1080 sq metre 493 plots dedicated for villas for the Nationals, commenced in May 2009. Musanada started handing over the project to the concerned government authorities at the beginning of August this year.
Commenting on this important milestone, Mohamed Khalifa Al Fahed Al Mehairi, CEO of Musanada said: "The Neima infrastructure project is one of the most significant projects we have undertaken in Al Ain. The delivery of phase one of infrastructure work on-time and under-budget bears witness to Musanada's commitment to achieving Abu Dhabi 2030 Vision by providing highly reliable and world-class services to the Abu Dhabi Government." The infrastructure work for the Neima project encompasses site settlement, a 18 km sewer system that includes 847 manholes ready for house connections, a 15 km of storm water drainage network with 620 discharge slots, in addition to the 27 km of water supply network with 107 valve chambers including several type of valves. - Emirates News Agency, WAM
