Nahyan opens new learning facilities at Al Ain HCT

Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research and Chancellor of Higher Colleges of Technology (HCT), opened yesterday the model teaching hall and new library at the pedagogy department as part of expansions in Al Ain HCT.

The teaching facility was fitted with the most advanced teaching methods and a collection of children toys to train female students on how to teach pre-school children in a school-like environment.

The new library houses about 3,000 titles, documentaries and publications in Arabic and English, and an audio-visual aids room. Its state-of-the-art conference room can accommodate more than 250 students. - Emirates News Agency, WAM
