"The UAE government is keen to developing political relations and currently negotiating some agreements that can bolster economical cooperation. It is also keen to export petroleum derivatives, petrochemicals, fertilizers and others to Namibia", Obaid said.

He added that the UAE cares about developing relations and cooperation with African countries, particularly on the economic and investment basis and development of infrastructure projects, which are shouldered by the Abu Dhabi Fund for Development since its inception.

Obaid explained the theme of the unprecedented initiative, 'Dubai Cares', launched by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid to support the education of poor children deprived from education in Africa and Asia.

On his part, Pohamba stressed that his government cares to promote the relations with the UAE, lauding the prosperity being experienced by the UAE in record time due to wise leadership.
