National Security Advisers of UAE, UK meet

National Security Adviser HH Sheikh Hazza Bin Zayed Al Nahyan and British National Security Adviser Sir Nigel Kim Darroch held talks Wednesday in Abu Dhabi on enhancing joint cooperation between UAE and UK in various fields.

Sir Kim is currently on a visit to the UAE leading a delegation.

A number of issues of common interest as well as current developments on the regional and international arenas also featured their talks.

Describing the bilateral ties between UAE and UK as strategic, Sheikh Hazza stressed the need to develop them into higher levels in the best interests of both sides.

Senior state officials and British Ambassador to UAE Dominic Jermey attended the meeting. – Emirates News Agency, WAM
