UAE new ministers sworn in Abu Dhabi yesterday afternoon at Al Bateen Palace before President HH Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.

Following are the names of the ministers who sworn in yesterday: Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister HH Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Presidential Affairs Minister HH Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Education HE Humaid Al Qattami and Minister of Health HE Dr Hanif Hassan.

Sheikh Khalifa said that the UAE was seeking more progress and development through self denial and allegiance of its citizens - being the foundation stone of any nation building project. He urged the Cabinet members to work very hard to achieve sustainable development, vesting once more confidence on the Vice President to translate the objectives of the Federal Government Strategy into action.

He wished success to the newly reshuffled Cabinet under the Vice President, adding that "We are expecting perseverance to sustain development and prosperity". – Emirates News Agency, WAM
